May 18th 2009: Jim Huguelet will be moderating a panel discussion at NACStech titled "Branded Stores and PCI Compliance: Who is Responsible?". You're branded; does that mean that you, personally, have to ensure your PCI-DSS Compliance? May 18th 2009: Pat Raycroft will be speaking at NACStech about the PCATS Certification process and W. Capra Labs. May 2009: NACSTech - Jim Huguelet and Pat Raycroft of W. Capra and several Coalfire experts met with Gilbarco invited guests to discuss specific PCI compliance issues at the Gilbarco booth.

January 2009: Jim Huguelet of W. Capra and Rick Dakin, President of Coalfire gave a full day presentation on PCI Compliance at the PCATS Annual Conference in Orlando. The intent was to provide a more advanced session on PCI DSS and PCI PED compliance. Comments were made that it was the best presentation in the industry so far. September 4, 2008: The Petroleum Convenience Alliance for Technology Standards
(PCATS) announced today that it has signed a service agreement with W. Capra Laboratories, LLC (Capra) to provide technical assistance in developing conformance testing tools and to use its interoperability laboratory and services for testing PCATS standards. W. Capra Laboratories is a wholly owned subsidiary of the W. Capra Consulting Group, Inc.

January 2008: Dale Blotter moderated a panel discussion on alternative payments at the shop.org 2008 conference.

January 2008: Doug Rodewald and Terry Mahoney presented at the PCATS Winter Meeting on Wednesday January 23rd. Terry and Doug discussed how retailers can prepare for the many alternative payment options that will be available in the upcoming years. www.pcats.org

January 2009: W. Capra is pleased to announce the addition of Steven O'Toole as its newest Partner. Steve brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in retail petroleum technology to W. Capra. He also brings a genuine desire and passion to assist retailers in improving their system capability and a track record of visualizing and implementing new technology. Steve also possesses a contagious drive for getting things done. Steve will be focused on growing W. Capra Consulting Group's consulting practice, developing new relationships with vendors and service providers and growing W. Capra's existing client relationships.

Steve has been an independent consultant for the last three years assisting large convenience/petroleum and retail clients with new payment technology and asset conversion. Prior to that, he led a major site and host system reengineering effort for a major oil company, resulting in an innovative approach for separating card payment from Point-of-Sale processing. He was also responsible for the IT delivery for 2,000 retail sites and was on the global Retail IT leadership team. Steve, his wife Janeth and their three boys live in the Chicagoland area.

September 2007: W. Capra is pleased to announce the addition of Anna Assenmacher to its Payments Practice. Anna's extensive experience in the payment industry and her background as a sales professional further establishes W. Capra as a one stop shop for all payment needs. Anna will work closely with W. Capra's leadership team to identify, develop and deliver new services to merchants.

Anna draws on over a decade of experience in electronic payments and sales. She has worked with a variety of companies from industry leaders such as Firth Third and Walgreens to start-ups. In her prior roles she has brought tremendous value to her clients and organizations by identifying cost saving changes in credit card processing and leading the effort to segment her organization into functional verticals to increase industry relevance.

May 2007: W. Capra is pleased to announce the addition of Douglas Rodewald as its newest Partner. Doug joined W. Capra Consulting Group as an employee in 2005 as VP of Business Development. He brings a diverse background to W. Capra that includes a foundation of knowledge in retail technology, strategic sourcing and payments. Doug is currently focused on launching W. Capra's Payments Practice (www.lakeshorepayments.com) which assists retail companies in minimizing their acceptance costs and constructing a differentiated payment offer that is relevant to consumers.

While with W. Capra, Doug has led a number of successful client engagements including the selection of a retail network that supports over 10,000 sites and the redesign of the admission process for an online education company. Prior to joining W. Capra, Doug was a consultant with Crowe Chizek and an employee at McDonald's.


March 2007: W. Capra is pleased to announce the addition of Jim DuBoyce to W. Capra Consulting Group. Jim brings almost 20 years of financial and operational expertise to W. Capra. With W. Capra, Jim has led projects to source vendors for a broadband telecom network for a large petroleum company; analyze new payment products for major industry associations and improve fuel inventory forecasting and delivery management capabilities for a petroleum retailer.

Jim's payment experience includes work as the Credit Risk Manager for the Amoco private label card and the sale of the Amoco portfolio (vendor selection, assessment, negotiations). While at Amoco, Jim managed payment acceptance issues including the operating relationships with the private label issuer, bankcard issuers, merchant banks, and fleet programs. In this role, Jim had P&L accountability for interchange fees, fraud, chargebacks and settlement. Jim also helped implement the Amoco Cash Card.

November 2006: W. Capra is pleased to announce the addition of Dale Blotter to W. Capra Consulting Group. Dale draws on more than 20 years of experience in electronic payments and financial services. With W. Capra, Dale leverages his background in card acceptance and consumer point-of-sale environments to bring a merchant perspective to the firm's efforts.

Before joining W. Capra, Dale worked for BP, managing 3rd party bankcard programs for over 13,000 BP branded merchant locations in the US. He served as a Vice President and Controller at PayPoint Electronic Payment Systems, engaged in the delivery of payment processing services to a variety of retail verticals including petroleum, QSR and grocery. In particular he managed PayPoint's key business relationships with all major debit and credit card payment providers to help deliver the optimal payment solutions to their clients. Earlier at ARCO, Dale managed a treasury cash management organization responsible for daily cash position activities, money transfer, bank administration/compensation and letters of credit. He also advised various business units on their cash and banking services needs and solutions.
