Each one brings a variety of different experiences, expert knowledge, and a unique viewpoint, all of which can contribute toward the success of your business enterprise.
Patrick Raycroft
Patrick has 25 years of IT experience in the manufacturing and retail industries. He has extensive experience as part of senior management teams at BP and Amoco. He directed the development and implementation of IT consolidation and integration efforts required to support two successive multi-billion dollar mergers. He managed the design and implementation of Amoco's retail systems including their site architecture work, technical due diligence activities for e-business investment opportunities, and developed vendor strategies for connecting retail sites globally. Most recently, he has provided interim IT leadership to the U.S. Retail business of a major retail petroleum company and has provided strategy assistance and leadership to a global retail systems reengineering effort. He has also spoken at NACS and NACSTech several times over the last few years. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree, Mathematics/Computer Science from Purdue University and a Master of Science Degree, Operations Research from DePaul University.
Terry Mahoney
Terry is an acknowledged expert at identifying and addressing the organizational impacts of information technology and redesigning business processes to capitalize on today's enabling technologies. He has a proven track record in enterprise-scale information technology projects, including large project management, technical architecture and strategy, business process analysis, systems design, development, and testing, and the management of large systems integration projects. Terry has successfully managed large-scale projects for a wide range of Fortune 100 companies in the petrochemical, insurance, and pharmaceutical industries. As an experienced industry consultant, Terry brings a wealth of business, technology, and consultancy acumen. The storehouse of funny stories is a bonus. Terry's education includes a Bachelor of Science, Mathematics and Computer Science from Loyola University and a Master of Business Administration, Marketing Management/Finance from the University of Chicago. We don't know where he learned the funny stories.
Douglas L. Rodewald
Douglas has a foundation of knowledge in organizational design, operational and strategic execution, vendor management, supply chain integration, and retail technology. Douglas has applied his diverse knowledge set to grow numerous businesses through leadership and ownership in such varied industries as the consumer pet industry and retail technology consulting. His past successes can be attributed to his ability to extend the value of existing resources, find and exploit small industry niches or product differentiators and map complex scenarios to easily understand actions. Douglas understands the importance between marketing and delivery and prides himself on being able to effectively define the optimal mix. Douglas also applies his leadership talents to community issues and non-profit organizations. He has participated in Habitat for Humanity, Chicago Cares and has spoken to Chicago students on the importance of technology and successful communication. He holds a Bachelor of Business Adminstration with a focus in Industrial Distribution Management from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois.
Steve O'Toole
Steve brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in retail petroleum technology to W. Capra. He also brings a genuine desire and passion to assist retailers in improving their system capability and a track record of visualizing and implementing new technology. Steve also possesses a contagious drive for getting things done. Steve is focused on growing W. Capra Consulting Group's consulting practice, developing new relationships with vendors and service providers and growing W. Capra's existing client relationships. For three years prior to joining W. Capra, Steve was an independent consultant assisting large convenience/petroleum and retail clients with new payment technology and asset conversion. Prior to that, he led a major site and host system reengineering effort for a major oil company, resulting in an innovative approach for separating card payment from Point-of-Sale processing. He was also responsible for the IT delivery for 2,000 retail sites and was on the global Retail IT leadership team. Steve, his wife Janeth and their three boys live in the Chicagoland area.
